Information about the activities of the Department for the prevention of Child Homelessness and the rehabilitation of street children

At present OCF “The Way Home” runs the following projects for street children and children from vulnerable families:

1. Centre for Education and Health of Street Children – this is the first of its kind in Ukraine. The Centre has space for up to 50 children.
2. Rehabilitation Centre for Children in Crisis - This Centre has space for up to 25 children.
3. Social Patrol – Using two ‘minivans’ the charity operates a daily search for street children and visits places where street children convene.
4.Legal Support

Several lawyers work for the foundation to assist the children on small and large legal questions
5. Prevention of HIV/AIDS and Other Dangerous Diseases Among Street Children
6.Help for girls who have suffered from abuse
7. Summer Camps
8. Prevention of Child Homelessness
